Carlo Wagner
Carlo Wagner (3 July 1953 – 12 February 2021) was a politician from Luxembourg. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as Mayor of Wormeldange and as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the East Constituency between 1994 and 1999 and between 2004 and 2013. He was also the Minister of Health under the Juncker–Polfer Ministry The Juncker–Polfer Ministry was the government of Luxembourg between 7 August 1999 and 31 July 2004. ''Luxemburger Wort'' is a German-language Luxembourgish daily newspaper. There is an English edition named the ''Luxembourg Times''. History and profile ''Luxemburger Wort'' has been published since 1848. The paper was founded just three days after press censorship was abolished. East ( lb, Osten; french: Est; german: Osten) is one of the four multi-member constituencies of the Chamber of Deputies, the national legislature of Luxembourg. The constituency was established in 1919 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Chamber of Deputies. The Juncker–Polfer Ministry was the government of Luxembourg between 7 August 1999 and 31 July 2004. It was led by, and named after, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker and Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Deputy Prime Minister Lydie Polfer. The Juncker-Polfer government represented a coalition between Juncker's Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and Polfer's Democratic Party (Luxembourg), Democratic Party, which had been elected the largest and second-largest parties respectively in the Luxembourg general election, 1999, general election of 1999.
