Carlo Ricardo Prater (born June 25, 1981) is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division. A professional MMA competitor since 2002, Prater has also formerly competed for the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce, the MFC, Vale Tudo Japan, the Palace Fighting Championship, Legacy FC, and Titan FC. Background Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Prater was raised along with his younger sister by parents who had been American missionaries in Brazil since the 1970s. Prater's father took a pulpit job in Connecticut, resulting in the family to move to the United States. Prater was enrolled in Tang Soon Do upon moving to the U.S. in 1987, which he continued training in for three years. After his parents divorced, Prater moved with his father to Oklahoma in 1993 and began competing in wrestling. Titan Fighting Championship (Titan FC) is an American mixed martial arts promotion based out of Pompano Beach, Florida. Their shows were originally run in and near Kansas City and have since expanded to include venues all over North America and eventually, international locations. Brock Orville Larson (born August 23, 1977) is a retired American professional mixed martial artist who competed in the Welterweight and Middleweight divisions. A professional competitor from 2002 until 2016, Larson has formerly competed for the UFC, the WEC, and ONE FC. Background Larson is from Brainerd, Minnesota and was raised on a beef farm. He formerly competed in the Welterweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was the former Interim UFC Welterweight Champion.
