Carlo Bigatto
__NOTOC__ Carlo Bigatto (; 29 August 1895 – 16 September 1942) was an Italian football player and coach who played as a midfielder. Club career Bigatto spent his entire club career playing football for Italian side Juventus, also serving as team captain, and winning two Serie A titles. International career Bigatto also played for the Italy national football team five times between 1925 and 1927. Managerial career After his retirement Bigatto returned to Juventus in a managerial role during the latter part of the 1934–35 season in which Juventus won the league over Inter by two points; before Virginio Rosetta took over the following year. 1925–26 Prima Divisione
The 1925–26 Prima Divisione season, its final season, was won by Juventus. Northern League Regular season Udinese and Parma FC had been promoted from the Second Division. Goal average was introduced eliminating the tie-breakers. The Northern League decided to create the Serie A with 16 teams starting in 1926, so the last four teams of each group should be relegated. However, just after the end of the regular season the fascists postponed thus project under protests of Southern clubs which would be excluded. They imposed a National Division of two groups instead, and all relegated clubs entered into an extraordinary qualification for the new tournament. Virginio "Viri" Rosetta (; 25 February 1902 – 31 March 1975) was an Italian footballer who played as a defender. A hard-working player, he was known for his organisational skills, and for his ability to read the game and anticipate other players; he was also known to be a very precise passer of the ball, and an elegant full-back with good technique and a powerful shot, who was capable of starting plays from the back-line. Club career Rosetta was born in Vercelli, Piedmont, where he debuted for Pro Vercelli in the Italian First Division (Serie A's predecessor) in the 1919–20 season, as a striker. He later turned into an effective defender. Pro Vercelli was then one of the major Italian football teams, and Rosetta won two '' scudetti'' in 1921 and 1922. He debuted for Italy at the 1920 Summer Olympics, forming a partnership with Renzo De Vecchi. In 1923 he moved to Juventus, where he was paid as a footballer for the first time.
