Carlo Andreotti
Carlo Andreotti (born 21 May 1943) is an Italian politician. Biography Carlo Andreotti was born in Trento on 21 May 1943. He graduated in law and is licensed to practice as a lawyer. Later he became a journalist, he was editor of L'Adige and worked for RAI, becoming head of service. In January 1988, it was founded the Trentino Tyrolean Autonomist Party (PATT) and Andreotti became its political secretary, a position he held until 1994, while from 1997 to 1999 he was its president. In 1988 he was elected regional councillor, an office he held until 2008. Trentino ( lld, Trentin), officially the Autonomous Province of Trento, is an autonomous province of Italy, in the country's far north. Margherita Cogo (born 2 October 1951) was the first woman to be President of the Italian autonomous region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol and also the region's first Vice President. Biography Margherita Cogo was born in 1951 in Tione di Trento, Italy. She graduated from the University of Padua with a degree in philosophy and then married and had two children. Cogo began her career as a humanities teacher in a local middle school and later taught literature. In 1985 she was elected to serve on the City Council of Tione, as a candidate from the Italian Socialist Party. She was re-elected in 1990 and then in 1993 was appointed as Mayor. Luis Durnwalder (born 23 September 1941) is an Italian politician, former governor of the autonomous province of South Tyrol from 1989 until 2014, and former president and vice-president of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, in Northern Italy. After attending school in Pfalzen and Brixen, he originally planned to enter an Augustinian choir at the Neustift monastery in Brixen; however, Durnwalder decided instead to study agriculture at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, additionally he attended lectures in law. Trentino Tyrolean Autonomist Party
The Trentino Tyrolean Autonomist Party ( it, Partito Autonomista Trentino Tirolese, PATT) is a regionalist, autonomist, Christian-democratic and centrist political party in Trentino, Italy.
