Carlo Alberto Guidoboni CavalchiniOr Guidobono. (26 July 1683 – 7 March 1774) was an Italian Cardinal. Considered '' papabile'' in the Papal conclave, 1758, he was vetoed by Louis XV of France under the ''jus exclusivae''. A lawyer by education, he became titular archbishop of Filippi in 1728, and was created Cardinal in 1743. He became bishop of Albano in 1759 and bishop of Ostia in 1763. Carlo Alberto Baratta (October 16, 1754 – 1815) was an Italian painter. Biography He was born in Genoa. His father was a government official. Carlo studied at the Academia Ligustica, and became a pupil of Emanuele Tagliafichi, son of Santo Tagliafico. Like his brother, Antonio Baratta, Carlo was a scenic designer. He also frescoed palaces and chapels; and painted altarpieces. He painted for the Augustinian convent in Sarzano neighborhood. He also painted for the church of Santa Maria del Suffragio in Genoa, altarpieces of the ''Resurrection of Lazarus'' and ''Tobias burying cadavers''. Charles Albert Of Sardinia
Charles Albert (; 2 October 1798 – 28 July 1849) was the King of Sardinia from 27 April 1831 until 23 March 1849. His name is bound up with the first Italian constitution, the Albertine Statute, and with the First Italian War of Independence (1848–1849). During the Napoleonic period, he resided in France, where he received a liberal education. As Prince of Carignano in 1821, he granted and then withdrew his support for a rebellion which sought to force Victor Emmanuel I to institute a constitutional monarchy. He became a conservative and participated in the legitimist expedition against the Spanish liberals in 1823. He became king of Sardinia in 1831 on the death of his distant cousin Charles Felix, who had no heir. Carlo Alberto Biggini (December 9, 1902 – November 19, 1945) was an Italian fascist politician who served as minister of education before and after proclamation of the Italian Social Republic under Benito Mussolini. Biography Born in Sarzana, Province of La Spezia, he joined the Blackshirts in 1920, and co-signed the ''Fascist Intellectuals' Manifesto'' in 1925. He earned a bachelor's degree in law and political science in 1928, and subsequently taught law at the University of Sassari, and then at the University of Pisa (where he became the rector in 1941). Biggini asserted himself through his strong belief in corporatism. Carlo Alberto Nucci is full professor of Electrical Power Systems at the University of Bologna and the Editor in Chief of the Electric Power System Research Journal. He authored or co-authored over 200 science papers in the field of power electrical engineering. Fellow of IEEE for contributions to analysis and modeling of lightning originated phenomena in power systems and IET. He has also been Chair of the IEEE PowerTech Permanent Steering Committee. Nucci is head of the Power Systems Laboratory at the University of Bologna. Together with prof. F.
