Joseph Francis Carlino
Joseph Francis Carlino (June 23, 1917 – August 13, 2006) was an American lawyer and politician. Life He was born on June 23, 1917, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. His father Lorenzo Carlino became the Republican leader of Long Beach, New York in 1937. When his father died in 1943, Joseph succeeded to his father's position in the party. Joseph had then just graduated from Fordham University School of Law. He was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1945 to 1964, sitting in the 165th, 166th, 167th, 168th, 169th, 170th, 171st, 172nd, 173rd and 174th New York State Legislatures. He was Majority Leader from 1955 to 1959, and was elected Speaker after the death of Oswald D. Heck in 1959. He held this post until 1964 when, as the sitting Speaker, he lost his seat at the 1964 Democratic landslide election after the death of John F. Kennedy. Lewis John Carlino (January 1, 1932 – June 17, 2020) was an American screenwriter and director. His career spanned five decades and included such works as '' The Fox'', '' The Brotherhood'', '' The Mechanic'', '' The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea'', '' I Never Promised You a Rose Garden'', ''Resurrection'', and ''The Great Santini''. Carlino was nominated for many awards, including the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Carlos Menéndez Hevia (born 17 February 1987), commonly known as Carlinos, is a Spanish former footballer who played as a winger. Club career Born in Noreña, Asturias, Carlinos graduated from Sporting de Gijón's youth setup, and made his debut with the reserves, playing several seasons in Segunda División B and Tercera División. In summer 2010 he signed a new contract, being promoted to the main squad; initially listed for loan, he failed to join any other club and was not registered for the forthcoming campaign. On 26 January 2011, Carlinos was loaned to Real Unión of the third division, until June. He subsequently returned to Sporting, being again assigned to the B team.
