Carles Soria
Carles Soria Grau (born 8 October 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right back for Super League Greece club PAS Giannina. Club career Born in Calaf, Barcelona, Catalonia, Soria joined RCD Espanyol's youth setup in 2009, from Club Gimnàstic Manresa. On 4 June 2015, after finishing his graduation, he was promoted to the reserves in Segunda División B. Soria made his senior debut on 23 August 2015, replacing Adrián Dalmau in a 1–0 victory against UE Lleida. His first senior goal came the following 14 February, netting his team's only in a 1–3 home loss CD Atlético Baleares. On 4 April 2016, Soria's contract was extended until the end of 2018. On 1 June 2017, he moved abroad for the first time in his career, signing a two-year deal with Cypriot First Division club AEK Larnaca FC. Calaf
Calaf () is the main town in the northern portion of the ''comarca'' of the Anoia in Catalonia, Spain, situated on the Calaf Plain. The town holds an important weekly livestock market. It is served by the main N-II road from Barcelona to Lleida, the RENFE railway line from Manresa to Lleida and the C-1412 road from Igualada to Ponts. Calaf also has an exit from the new C25 that crosses Catalonia from Girona to Lleida. The remains of Calaf castle dominate the town from a hilltop. Joan Tomàs Campasol (born 17 May 1985), known as Joan Tomàs, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CF Peralada. Mainly a left-winger, he can also operate as a striker. Club career Born in Girona, Catalonia, Joan Tomàs was an unsuccessful graduate from Espanyol's youth ranks, after which he moved to neighbours Lleida in the Segunda División B. After one season with Alicante in the same tier, which ended in promotion, he joined Villarreal. Even though already 23, Joan Tomàs spent over a year registered with the B side, and made his first-team – and La Liga – debut on 1 February 2009, in a 3–0 away loss against Deportivo de La Coruña. The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved. The 2017–18 Cypriot First Division was the 79th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. The season began on 19 August 2017 and is ended on 13 May 2018.
