Carles Castillo
Carles Castillo i Rosique (born in 1975), is a Spanish Catalan lawyer and politician. Their parents are original of Cartagena, Region of Murcia. He graduated in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, specializing in Business Law and Urban Law, and has worked for the Kesse Advocats Buffete in Tarragona, of which he is a member. During his studenthood he was a member of the secretariat of students of the Rovira i Virgili University for the AJEC. Between 1999 and 2004 he was the first secretary of the Socialist Youth of Catalonia in the Camp de Tarragona. In the Spanish 2003 municipal elections, 2007, 2011 and in 2015 municipal elections of 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015, was elected councilor of the city council of Tarragona. He was the councilor for Citizen Security, Mobility and Licenses (2007–2011) and deputy mayor in charge of Citizen Security and Urban Planning (2011–2015). The Parliament of Catalonia ( ca, Parlament de Catalunya, ; es, Parlamento de Cataluña; oc, Parlament de Catalonha) is the unicameral legislature of the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The Parliament is currently made up of 135 members, known as deputies (''diputats''/''deputats''/''diputados''), who are elected for four-year terms or after extraordinary dissolution, chosen by universal suffrage in lists of four constituencies, corresponding to the Catalan provinces. The 2003 Spanish local elections were held on Sunday, 25 May 2003, to elect all 65,510 councillors in the 8,108 municipalities of Spain and all 1,036 seats in 38 provincial deputations. Camp de Tarragona () is a natural and historical region of Catalonia, Spain. It includes a central plain, surrounded by the Serralada Prelitoral mountain chain on the west and in the north, with the Mediterranean sand beaches of the Costa Daurada on the east and limited in the south by the Coll de Balaguer. The main towns are Tarragona, Reus, Valls and Cambrils. Salou is an important resort destination.
