Cardenas J. Alban
Cardenas J. Alban (born 1975) is a former Staff Sergeant in the United States Army from Inglewood, California who was convicted of the murder of Qassim Hassan, a sixteen-year-old Iraqi. The teenager was found with severe abdominal injuries and burns, and the shooting was described as a "mercy killing." Staff sergeant is a rank of non-commissioned officer used in the armed forces of many countries. It is also a police rank in some police services. History of title In origin, certain senior sergeants were assigned to administrative, supervisory, or other specialist duties as part of the staff of a British Army regiment. Inglewood is a city in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 107,762. A military discharge is given when a member of the armed forces is released from their obligation to serve. Each country's military has different types of discharge. They are generally based on whether the persons completed their training and then fully and satisfactorily completed their term of service.
