Carat Cheung (; born 7 December 1987) is a Canadian-Chinese actress, model and former beauty pageant winner currently based in Hong Kong and previously under Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) management. She is the winner of Miss Hong Kong 2012. Biography Carat Cheung hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. She attended Killarney Secondary School and graduated from University of British Columbia majoring in Economics Business Studies. Cheung is also the niece of TVB television drama producer Alfred Cheung Kin-ting. Prior to returning to Hong Kong, Cheung worked as a presenter for Fairchild TV, a Chinese television channel in Canada. Pageant career Cheung was a contestant at the 2009 Miss Chinese (Vancouver) Pageant, coming in 1st Runner-Up, behind that year's winner Eliza Sam. Hong Kong was a colony and later a dependent territory of the British Empire from 1841 to 1997, apart from a period of occupation under the Japanese Empire from 1941 to 1945 during the Pacific War. Grace Chan (born 23 June 1991) is a Hong Kong-born Canadian actress, television host, and beauty pageant titleholder. She was the winner of Miss Hong Kong 2013 and Miss Chinese International 2014. The Miss Hong Kong Pageant (), or Miss HK () for short, is an annual beauty pageant organised by local Hong Kong television station, TVB. The pageant was established in 1946, and acquired by TVB in 1973. The current Miss Hong Kong is Denice Lam (林鈺洧) who was crowned at the 50th Miss Hong Kong 2022 Pageant on 25 September 2022. Rebecca Zhu (; born 2 December 1987) is a Hong Kong actress and a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Hong Kong 2011. As a result of her pageant win, Zhu was offered a starring role in the 2012 TVB television drama ''Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles'', which was also her acting debut.
