Capitán Luis Ángel Vidal is a municipality in the Mexican state of Chiapas, located approximately southeast of the state capital of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Its inhabitants are of Guatemalan origin and speak the Mam language. Escuintla is a town and one of the 119 Municipalities of Chiapas, in southern Mexico. It covers an area of 206.2 km². Chiapas is a state in Southwest Mexico. According to the 2020 Mexican Census, it has the eighth largest population of all states with inhabitants and the 10th largest by land area spanning . The Congress of the State of Chiapas ( es, Congreso del Estado de Chiapas) is the legislative branch of the government of the State of Chiapas. El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve is a biosphere reserve in southern Mexico. It is in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas in southern Chiapas. Geography El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve has an area of 1191.77 km2 in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, a mountain range that extends roughly east–west parallel to the Pacific coast of Mexico and Guatemala. Mapastepec is a town and municipality in the southeastern state of Chiapas, Mexico. Its name derives from the place name ''mapachtepec'', "Hill of the Raccoon", a compound of the Nahuatl words ''mapachi'' ("raccoon") and ''tepetl'' ("mountain"). Acacoyagua Municipality one of the 122 municipalities of Chiapas, which in turn is one of the states of Mexico.
