Capital Kings
Capital Kings was an American pop, EDM and Christian pop act. The group went on indefinite hiatus on January 3, 2018. The group originally consisted of producer and rapper Cole Walowac and singer Jon White, who was later replaced by Dylan Housewright. History Jon White and Cole Walowac formed Capital Kings while still living in their hometown of Washington D.C. Jon White stated that he met Cole in his church nursery and that "we started playing in the youth group band... Cole would play drums and I would sing and that's how we started making music." ''Capital Kings'' is the first studio album by Christian electronic pop band Capital Kings. The album was released on January 8, 2013 and with Gotee Records. Three songs on ''Capital Kings'' were released on their EP '' I Feel So Alive'' on September 25, 2012. Reception Commercial The album was the No. 141 most sold album in the United States on the January 19, 2013 ''Billboard'' 200 music chart, and was the No. 5 most sold Christian album in the country that same week. "I Can't Quit" is a song by the CEDM group Capital Kings featuring Christian rapper Reconcile. It was released in the iTunes Store on July 29, 2016. It is the first song by the group featuring Dylan Housewright as the singer instead of Jon White. Composition The song features pumping house beats and is 128 BPM. Royal Tailor was an American Christian pop rock band. The group disbanded in 2015. History Royal Tailor was started by Tauren Wells, DJ Cox, Jeremy Guzman, and Blake Hubbard while they were attending Indiana Bible College in 2004. Jarrod Ingram, who attended Gateway College of Evangelism (now Urshan College), joined later. After hearing Royal Tailor's music, Leeland and Jack Mooring passed along the band's EP to Jason McArthur, Vice President of A&R of Provident Music Group, who signed them to a record deal. ''CCM Magazine'' is a twice-monthly online magazine focusing on contemporary Christian music, published by Salem Publishing, a division of Salem Communications. History ''CCM'' was first published in July 1978, as a printed magazine. It has been owned by Salem since 1999.
