Capharnaum (band)
Capharnaum was an American technical death metal band from Sanford, Florida, formed by brothers Jason and Jordan Suecof. History Capharnaum was founded in 1993 by Jason and Jordan Suecof, who are the only continuous members of the band. The band was originally from Avon, Connecticut but moved to Sanford, Florida after their breakup in 1999. In 1997, the band released their debut album, ''Reality Only Fantasized''. A year later, they recorded the Plague of Spirits demo. In 2004, they released '' Fractured'', which was recorded at Jason Suecof's Audio Hammer Studios, on Willowtip Records. Avon, Connecticut
Avon ( ) is a town in the Farmington Valley region of Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town had a population of 18,932. History Avon was settled in 1645 and was originally a part of neighboring Farmington. In 1750, the parish of Northington was established in the northern part of Farmington, to support a Congregational church more accessible to the local population. Its first pastor was Ebenezer Booge, a graduate of Yale Divinity School who arrived in 1751. The Farmington Canal's opening in 1828 brought new business to the village, which sat where the canal intersected the Talcott Mountain Turnpike linking Hartford to Albany, New York. Hopes of industrial and commercial growth spurred Avon to incorporate. In 1830, the Connecticut General Assembly incorporated Northington as the town of Avon, after County Avon in England. Daniel Mongrain
Daniel Mongrain (also known as Dan Mongrain and Chewy) is perhaps best known as a co-founder of the Quebec technical death metal band Martyr. He composes, sings and plays lead and rhythm guitar. Mongrain is currently a guitarist and composes as a member for the Canadian thrash/progressive metal band Voivod since 2008, replacing late guitarist Denis D'Amour. Mongrain was a session and touring guitarist for the Canadian metal bands Cryptopsy (2005), Gorguts (2000), Alcoholica (2004) and Capharnaum (2003). In addition to the metal genre, Mongrain plays guitar with several Quebec artists including Dan Bigras, Breen Leboeuf, Bruno Pelletier for the musical Dracula - Entre l'amour et la mort among others and played with more than 80 different formations, bands in numerous genres from Blues to rock to hip-hop to prog to metal, etc. His latest cover band project is a tribute band to progressive music from the 1970s called Jurassik Rock. Sanford, Florida
Sanford is a city in the central region of the U.S. state of Florida and the county seat of Seminole County. As of the 2020 census, its population was 61,051.
