Cape Conran
Cape Conran (Gunai language, Gunai: ''Kerlip'' or ''Murrow-gunnie'') is a locality in far-eastern Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. It lies within the Cape Conran Coastal Park located between Marlo and Bemm River, Victoria, Bemm River about 400 km from Melbourne. The area actually includes two capes: East Cape Conran and West Cape Conran. Both are popular recreational destinations for visitors from nearby towns such as Orbost, as well as further afield, especially in the warmer months. While there are no permanent dwellings at West Cape, the East Cape area has a manager's house and office in the Banksia Bluff camping area which has about 100 camp sites, cabins and luxury tents for short term stays. Gunai Language
The Gunaikurnai or Gunai/Kurnai ( ) language, also spelt Gunnai, Kurnai, Ganai, Gaanay, or Kurnay ) is an Australian Aboriginal dialect cluster of the Gunaikurnai people in Gippsland in south-east Victoria. Bidawal was either a divergent dialect or a closely related language. Varieties means 'man'. The language had no traditional name, but each of its dialects was referred to separately. Bemm River, Victoria
Bemm River is a township and locality in the East Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. At the 2016 census, Bemm River and the surrounding area had a population of 60. Location and features The locality surrounds Sydenham Inlet and much of its area to the north is state forest, while Cape Conran Coastal Park adjoins the western shores of the inlet and Croajingolong National Park adjoins its eastern shores. Orbost
Orbost is a historic early settlers town in the Shire of East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia, Victoria, east of Melbourne and south of Canberra where the Princes Highway crosses the Snowy River.
