Canton Of Uzerche
The canton of Uzerche is an administrative division of the Corrèze department, south-central France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Uzerche. Cantons Of France
The cantons of France are territorial subdivisions of the France, French Republic's Departments of France, departments and Arrondissements of France, arrondissements. Apart from their role as organizational units in relation to certain aspects of the administration of public services and justice, the chief purpose of the cantons today is to serve as Constituency, constituencies for the election of members of the representative assemblies established in each of France's territorial departments (Departmental council (France), departmental councils, formerly general councils). Lubersac
Lubersac (; oc, Liberçac) is a commune in the Corrèze département in central France near Arnac-Pompadour and Uzerche. Formerly called ''Louparsat'' ("lou percé" in Limousin, can be translated to "pierced wolf" in English), named from the legend of a knight who killed a wolf with a blow of his sword to save his beloved. Geography The commune is located on the river Auvézère. Lubersac station has rail connections to Brive-la-Gaillarde, Saint-Yrieix and Limoges.
