Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (, lit.: "Saint Marys of the Sea"; Provençal Occitan: ''Li Santi Mario de la Mar'') is the capital of the Camargue ( Provençal Occitan ''Camarga'') in the south of France. Biography Chassain served as Deputy for Bouches-du-Rhône's 16th constituency in the as a member of the Union for a Popular Movement.
