Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val
Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val (; oc, Sent Antonin) is a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France. Having played an influential and somewhat bellicose role in the history of the region from the 12th to the 17th centuries, it then declined economically and as a result has preserved largely the medieval core which has many listed buildings and is now a major tourist attraction. Its Sunday market is extensive and draws visitors and locals alike. It is a member of the Cittaslow movement. Geography Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val is situated in the gorge of the Aveyron river at the confluence of the Bonnette, overlooked by the limestone cliffs of the Roc d'Anglars. Ginals
Ginals is a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France. Some of the oldest inhabitants are able to speak in the local patois, an ancient language of the area. Ginals is almost equidistant from the medieval towns of St. Antonin Noble Val and Caylus. The nearest village with a shop is Verfeil. Ginals has no village centre as such but is a geographical area made up of many hamlets, individual farms and houses which are scattered throughout the rural commune. Two of the largest outlying hamlets are those of St. Ignes and Lardaillé. One typical hamlet (mas) once had a population of over 100 people living in about 20 houses. Today there are only three houses which are occupied as part-time holiday homes by three British families. Laguépie (; oc, La Guépia) is a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France. Laguépie is situated at the confluence of the rivers Aveyron and Viaur and at the tri-point of the departments Tarn-et-Garonne, Aveyron and Tarn.
