Remich is a canton in the east of Luxembourg. Its capital is Remich. Dalheim
Dalheim ( lb, Duelem) is a commune and town in south-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Remich, which is part of the district of Grevenmacher. , the town of Dalheim, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 1,232. Other towns within the commune include Filsdorf and Welfrange. Church The church in Dalheim, built in 1743, is a Catholic church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. It is situated on the "Péiteschbierg" high above the village center. It is particularly distinguished by its unique frescoes from the second half of the 18th century (painted by the Luxembourgish artist Johann Georg Weiser) and statues of the two patron saints situated outside the church. However, in 2017, the statue of St Paul was decapitated and the head placed outside the front door of the presbytery. Stadtbredimus () is a Communes of Luxembourg, commune and small town in south-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the Remich (canton), canton of Remich. , the town of Stadtbredimus, which lies in the south-east of the commune, has a population of 676. Other towns within the commune include Greiveldange. Stadtbredimus Castle in the centre of the town has a history going back to the 13th century when a fortified castle stood on the site. Schengen () is a small wine-making village and commune in far south-eastern Luxembourg, on the western bank of the river Moselle. The commune border includes the tripoint where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet. After the mergers with Burmerange and Wellenstein in 2011, the commune has a population of 4,223 with an area of . The largest settlement within the commune of Schengen is Remerschen after which the commune used to be named. The name of the commune was changed in 2006 to take advantage of the Schengen's name recognition after the signing of the Schengen Agreement there in 1985.
