Canosia Township is an Urban township (Minnesota), urban township in St. Louis County, Minnesota, Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States. Canosia is a name derived from the Algonquian language meaning "pike fish". The population was 2,158 at the 2010 census. County roads in St. Louis County, Minnesota#13, Midway Road (County Road 13) and County roads in St. Louis County, Minnesota#9, Martin Road (County Road 9) are two of the main routes in the township. Other routes include County roads in St. Louis County, Minnesota#48, Lavaque Road (County Road 48), Lavaque Bypass Road, and Old Miller Trunk Highway.
