Canon Blue
Canon Blue is an indie/electronic/folktronica project by Nashville-based artist/producer Daniel James. On October 6, 2011, the NPR radio show World Cafe called the band "up and coming". The project's debut album ''Colonies'' was released on Rumraket Records on 17 September 2007. It was mixed by Chris Taylor and mastered by Cristian Vogel. Canon Blue opened for several Foster the People shows in June 2011 and their song "Indian Summer (Des Moines)" was featured on NPR as October 28, 2011's "Song-of-the-day". Canon Blue's sophomore album, ''Rumspringa,'' was also produced by Rumraket and was released on August 29, 2011. Musical collaborators on this album include Chris Taylor, Amiina, and Slaraffenland. A third album, ''Lasso Yo'', was released on Temporary Residence in 2017. Efterklang () is a Danish indie rock group from Copenhagen, formed in December 2000. The band has recorded five studio albums and are currently signed to the 4AD label, as well as their own record label Rumraket. In 2012, they released their fourth album '' Piramida'' to good reviews. History 2001–2011 The name ''Efterklang'' comes from the Danish word for "remembrance" or "reverberation." Chris Taylor (Grizzly Bear Musician)
Christopher Taylor (born August 29, 1981) is an American multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is best known as the bass guitarist, backing vocalist and producer of the Brooklyn-based indie rock band Grizzly Bear, with whom he has recorded four studio albums. Taylor also records solo material under the moniker CANT, releasing his debut album, '' Dreams Come True'', in 2011. Acting as Grizzly Bear's regular producer, Taylor has also produced albums for Dirty Projectors, Department of Eagles, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, Twin Shadow, Kishi Bashi and The Morning Benders. Cristian Vogel
Cristian Vogel (born 1972) is an Chilean experimental electronic musician. Biography Vogel was born in Chile and moved to England in the early 1980s with his family, fleeing from the government of Augusto Pinochet. Vogel first began working with electronic compositions in the late 1980s with the Cabbage Head Collective (working with Si Begg, among others). He attended the University of Sussex and graduated with a degree in modern music there, suffusing his techno compositions with influences from ''musique concrete'' and other avant-garde styles. Foster The People
Foster the People is an American indie pop band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2009. Its members are singer Mark Foster, guitarist Sean Cimino, and keyboardist Isom Innis. Foster founded the band in 2009 after spending several years in Los Angeles as a struggling musician and working as a commercial jingle writer. Amiina (formerly Amína, stylized in lowercase) is an Icelandic band composed of members Maria Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir, and Sólrún Sumarliðadóttir, Magnús Trygvason Eliassen and Guðmundur Vignir Karlsson. Slaraffenland
Slaraffenland is an experimental music, experimental pop music band from Copenhagen, Denmark. Their sound is a mixture of many different styles, including post-rock, experimental rock, noise pop, and freeform jazz.
