Cannons is the second commercial studio album by American contemporary Christian singer Phil Wickham, released on October 2, 2007, the album is outpacing same week sales of Phil Wickham's debut with more than 40 percent of album sales in digital form. He also debuted on Real Rhapsody’s top artists chart in the Christian/Gospel genre as well as on the Napster top artists chart. In addition, Cannons was a featured new release for both Napster and Sony. The Album debuted at No. 16 on Billboard Christian Albums. Philip David Wickham (born April 5, 1984) is a Contemporary Christian musician, singer and songwriter from San Diego, California. Wickham has released nine albums: ''Give You My World'' in 2003, a self-titled album in 2006, ''Cannons'' in 2007, ''Singalong'' in 2008, '' Heaven & Earth'' in 2009, '' Response'' in 2011, ''Singalong 2'' in 2012, '' The Ascension'' in 2013, ''Sing-A-Long 3'' in 2015, '' Children of God'' in 2016, '' Living Hope'' in 2018, and ''Hymn Of Heaven'' in 2021. Dobro is an American brand of resonator guitars, currently owned by Gibson and manufactured by its subsidiary Epiphone. The term "dobro" is also used as a generic term for any wood-bodied, single-cone resonator guitar. The Dobro was originally a guitar manufacturing company founded by the Dopyera brothers with the name "Dobro Manufacturing Company". Lap Steel Guitar
The lap steel guitar, also known as a Hawaiian guitar, is a type of steel guitar without pedals that is typically played with the instrument in a horizontal position across the performer's lap. Unlike the usual manner of playing a traditional acoustic guitar, in which the performer's fingertips press the strings against frets, the pitch of a steel guitar is changed by pressing a polished steel bar against plucked strings (from which the name "steel guitar" derives). Though the instrument does not have frets, it displays markers that resemble them. Lap steels may differ markedly from one another in external appearance, depending on whether they are acoustic or electric, but in either case, do not have pedals, distinguishing them from pedal steel guitar.
