''Cannibal Terror'' (French title: ''Terreur Cannibale'') is a 1981 French cannibal exploitation film directed by Alain Deruelle and starring Silvia Solar, Pamela Stanford and Oliiver Mathot. Spanish filmmaker Jesús Franco was an uncredited co-writer on the film. Released at the end of the "cannibal boom", the film is a French production, unlike most other cannibal films, which were predominantly made by Italian filmmakers. The film shares footage with '' Mondo Cannibale'' directed by Jesús Franco. Both films share a number of locations, cast, and even dubbing actors. Jesús Franco
Jesús Franco Manera (12 May 1930 – 2 April 2013) was a Spanish filmmaker, composer, and actor, known as a prolific director of low-budget exploitation film, exploitation and B-movies. In a career spanning from 1959 to 2013, he wrote, directed, produced, acted in, and scored approximately 173 feature films, working both in his native Spain and (during the rule of Francisco Franco) in France, West Germany, Switzerland and Portugal. Additionally, during the 1960s, he made several films in Rio de Janeiro and Istanbul. Silvia Solar
Silvia Solar (20 March 19369 May 2011) was a French actress and prolific minor star in Spanish cinema. The majority of her appearances were in the 1960s and 1970s. Early life Solar was born Geneviève Couzain in Paris. Career Couzain won the title of "Miss France" at age 16. Shortly thereafter producer and director Henri Diamant-Berger cast Solar in her first film role. Her career spanned from the late 1950s through the early 1990s, starring in dozens of comedies, romances, drama, crime and spy thrillers as well as horror films. She played a main role in the Italian horror film ''Eyeball'' in 1975. That same year, she appeared alongside Paul Naschy in '' Night of the Howling Beast''. She starred in the film ''Devil's Kiss'', which received mixed reviews. Personal Solar was married to actor and former bullfighter Rogelio Madrid. She died May 18, 2011 in Lloret de Mar, Spain. ''Mondo Cannibale'' (English: ''Cannibal World'' ; also known as ''The Cannibals'', ''Die Blonde Göttin'', ''White Cannibal Queen'', ''A Woman for the Cannibals'' and ''Barbarian Goddess'') is a 1980 Spanish-Italian cannibal exploitation film directed by Jesús Franco and stars Al Cliver and a then-17 year old Sabrina Siani. It is one of two cannibal films directed by Franco starring Cliver, the other being '' Devil Hunter''. Sabrina Siani (born Sabrina Seggiani in Rome, 1963) is an Italian film actress. She also used pseudonyms such as Sabrina Sellers and Sabrina Syan.
