Canal Sur
Canal Sur ('South Channel') is part of Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA), the public broadcasting company of Andalusia. It was created by means of the devolved powers given to this region by an Act of Parliament in its statute of autonomy. Canal Sur consists of two television channels, Canal Sur TV and Canal Sur 2, a public radio network, Canal Sur Radio and Canal Fiesta Radio. History On 28 February 1989 Canal Sur 1 TV was launched as the public broadcaster of the Autonomous Community of Andalucía. This means that it was funded by the regional government of Andalusia. Canal Sur 2
Canal Sur 2 is the second public television channel from Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA). It began broadcasting on 5 June 1998, under the name ''Canal 2 Andalucía''. With the launch of ''Canal 2 Andalucía'', RTVA had to split its television broadcasts to two channels, leaving Canal Sur Canal Sur ('South Channel') is part of Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA), the public broadcasting company of Andalusia. Andalucía Televisión
Andalucía Televisión, formerly known as Canal Sur HD is the first High Definition TV channel by Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA). It offers an educational schedule and news which complement the main channel, Canal Sur Televisión. Appearance Canal Sur HD started its testing broadcasting on February 26, 2010, on 1080i resolution and only on the province of Sevilla. Around March 2010, all Andalusia could receive the signal. It was the first TV channel in Spain that produced a real 1080i HD programming in full coverage of an autonomous region of Spain. On February 28, 2015, RTVA made changes to their television channels. Former Andalucía Televisión changed its name to Canal Sur Andalucía, and Canal Sur HD was renamed to the name Andalucía Televisión. Canal Sur Radio
Canals or artificial waterways are waterways or engineered channels built for drainage management (e.g. flood control and irrigation) or for conveyancing water transport vehicles (e.g. water taxi). They carry free, calm surface flow under atmospheric pressure, and can be thought of as artificial rivers. The People's Party ( es, Partido Popular ; known mostly by its acronym, PP ) is a conservative and Christian-democratic political party in Spain. The People's Party was a 1989 re-foundation of People's Alliance (AP), a party led by former minister of the dictatorship Manuel Fraga and founded back in 1976 as alliance of post-Francoist proto-parties. ''Diario Sur'' (also called ''SUR'') (English: Southern Daily) is a regional newspaper of Málaga, Spain. It is owned by the Prensa Malagueña, S.A., owned by Grupo Vocento.
