"Can't Be Really Gone" is a song written by Gary Burr, and recorded by American country music artist Tim McGraw. It was released in October 1995 as the second single from his album '' All I Want''. It peaked at number two on the United States ''Billboard'' country chart, and number four on the Canadian ''RPM'' country chart. ''RPM'' ( and later ) was a Canadian music-industry publication that featured song and album charts for Canada. The publication was founded by Walt Grealis in February 1964, supported through its existence by record label owner Stan Klees. ''RPM'' ceased publication in November 2000.
