History The club was founded on November 15, 2004. Barras won the Campeonato Piauiense in 2008. Piripiri, Piauí is a municipality in the state of Piauí in the Northeast region of Brazil. The city's population numbered approximately 63,787 people as of 2020. The municipality contains part of the Serra da Ibiapaba Environmental Protection Area, created in 1996. Name The name "Piripiri" comes from "Peripery", which means, for some, grass or grasses, and for others, bulrush, bush found near ponds. Oeiras is a municipality in the Microregion of Picos, in the northeastern Brazilian State of Piauí.
