he Campeonato Brasileiro de ''League of Legends'' (CBLOL, lit. ''Brazilian Championship of League of Legends'') is the top level of professional ''League of Legends'' competition in Brazil. There are ten teams in the league. Each annual season of play is divided into two splits, spring and summer, both consisting of ten rounds of round-robin tournament play, which then conclude with play-off tournaments between the top three teams. The winners of each split qualifies for the Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship. The matches have been held since 2015 at Riot studios in São Paulo and broadcast via livestream, with an audience. And for the finals the matches are held in arenas like Allianz Parque, and are attended by narrators, commentators, analysts and presenters. The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is an annual ''League of Legends'' tournament hosted by Riot Games since 2015. It is the second most important international ''League of Legends'' tournament aside from the World Championship. In 2015 and 2016, the event featured the Spring Split champions of the five major competitive ''League of Legends'' regional leagues ( LEC, LCS, LCK, LMS, LPL), as well as a wildcard team from a region determined by the International Wildcard Invitational, held a few weeks beforehand. In its inaugural tournament, Chinese team Edward Gaming emerged victorious by defeating South Korean team SK Telecom T1 3–2 in the final. Since 2017, Spring Split champions from all regions have been participating in the event. The International Wildcard Invitational was replaced by the Play-in Stage. Allianz Parque (), also known as Palestra Itália Arena, is a multipurpose stadium in São Paulo, Brazil, built to receive shows, concerts, corporate events, and especially football matches of Palmeiras, the site owner.
