Campbells Creek is a tributary of the Kanawha River, long, in West Virginia in the United States. Via the Kanawha and Ohio rivers, it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River, draining an area of U.S. Geological Survey. Coal Fork is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in Kanawha County, West Virginia, United States. It is part of a larger unincorporated community known as Campbells Creek, approximately 10 minutes east of Charleston. The population was 1,233 at the 2010 census. Geography Coal Fork is located at (38.317216, -81.526864). According to the United States Census Bureau, the Coal Fork CDP has a total area of 5.1 square miles (13.3 km2), all land. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
