Camil Bouchard
Camil Bouchard (born October 27, 1945) is a Quebec politician, teacher and psychology researcher. He was a Member of National Assembly of Quebec from 2003 to 2010, representing the riding of Vachon in Longueuil. He is a member of the Parti Québécois. He went to Université Laval and obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology. He would add a doctorate at McGill University in 1974. He was then a teacher and researcher at the department of psychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal for 28 years. He was one of the founding members of the Research Lab in Human and Social Ecology in 1979. Bouchard entered politics in 2003 and was elected in Vachon. He was later named the critic for social solidarity and poverty and then the critic in family and education. Camil Bujor Mureşanu (; 20 April 1927 – 21 February 2015) was a Romanian historian, professor, author, and translator. Biography Mureşanu was born and reared in Turda. He attended the King Ferdinand High School in Turda, where his father, Teodor Murăşanu, was a teacher. After 1946, he studied history at Cluj University, where he graduated in June 1950. Mureşanu became a teaching assistant, junior teaching assistant (1950–1952), assistant professor (1952–1961), associate professor (1961–1975), and professor (after 1975) at Babeş-Bolyai University. Also, he was the dean of Faculty of History (1968–1976, 1981–1989). He obtain his Ph.D. in history in 1971 with the thesis: Times of John Hunyadi (doctoral adviser Ṣtefan Pascu). He was visiting professor at Columbia University, New York City (1978). Mureşanu is a doctoral adviser after 1976. Camil Petrescu (; 9/21 April 1894 – 14 May 1957) was a Romanian playwright, novelist, philosopher and poet. He marked the end of the traditional novel era and laid the foundation of the modern novel era in Romania. Life Petrescu was born in Bucharest in 1894. He lost both his parents early in life and was raised by a relative, or a nanny from the Moșilor suburb (the sources remain quite unclear on this). Petrescu went to primary school at Obor, and to high school at Saint Sava National College, where he wrote his very first poem. Being very poor, he studied assiduously, worked to support himself, and relatively late—at the age of 29—he began his studies in philosophy at the University of Bucharest. His antisemitism is controversial, having Jewish friends such as Mihail Sebastian. Camil Ressu (; 28 January 1880 – 1 April 1962) was a Romanian painter and academic, one of the most significant art figures of Romania. Biography Early life and career Born in Galați, Ressu originated from an Aromanian family that migrated to Romania from Macedonia at the start of the 19th century. His father, Constantin Ressu, who was a journalist and had studied law in Brussels, was an artist in his spare time. In 1887, Ressu was enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Bucharest. He continued his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Iași, where he studies with painters Gheorghe Popovici and Gheorghe Panaiteanu Bardasare.
