Cameri Air Base
Cameri is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin and about northeast of Novara. Cameri borders the following municipalities: Bellinzago Novarese, Caltignaga, Castano Primo, Galliate, Nosate, Novara, and Turbigo. It is home to a military airfield Cameri Air Base ( ICAO code: LIMN), now used for maintenance of the Panavia Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon of the Aeronautica Militare as well as final assembly of Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. The mayor is the body responsible for the administration of the municipality. The mayor represents the entity, convenes and chairs the council, as well as the council when the chairman of the council is not foreseen, and supervises the functioning of the services and offices and the execution of the acts (Article 50, Legislative Decree no. .267 of 08/18/2000). San Michele, Cameri
San Michele, locally called in dialect, ''Gésa Granda'', is the Roman Catholic parish church located in the city center at Piazza Dante Alighieri in the town Cameri, province of Novara, Piedmont it, Piemontese , population_note = , population_blank1_title = , population_blank1 = , demographics_type1 = , demographics1_footnotes = , demographics1_title1 = , demographics1_info1 = , demographics1_title2 ..., Italy. Town Twinning
A sister city or a twin town relationship is a form of legal or social agreement between two geographically and politically distinct localities for the purpose of promoting cultural and commercial ties. The Madonna di San Cassiano, also known as La Madòna di Fraj is a Roman Catholic church located on Via Galileo Galilei in the town limits of Cameri, province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. History A church at the site is documented since 1012. It was rebuilt in the present Baroque layout in 1673. A single nave opens to lateral chapels. The interior contains single fresco dating prior to the 12th century: a ''Virgin in Pink with the Christ Child'', located behind the main altar. The main altar was built in 1671 with black marble. The Panavia Tornado is a family of twin-engine, variable-sweep wing multirole combat aircraft, jointly developed and manufactured by Italy, the United Kingdom and West Germany.
