Cambiemos Movimiento Ciudadano (English: ''Let's Change - Citizen's Movement'') is a Venezuelan political party with a pluralist and progressive tendency founded on 11 May 2018. This movement belongs to the opposition coalition Agreement for Change. Political philosophy On their website they describe themselves as a "progressive court" organization. On the other hand, they have chosen to defend a policy based on dialogue, peace, coexistence and reconciliation; which they consider necessary for a “full democracy” and an “economy of opportunities and solidarity”. In addition, they are opposed to abstentionism and in favor of citizen political participation. It also defends the rights of women and the LGBT community. Un Nuevo Tiempo
A New Era ( es, Un Nuevo Tiempo, UNT) is a centre-left political party in Venezuela. It received 11% of the vote in the 2008 regional elections. The party arose in Zulia State, Venezuela's most populous, and remains far stronger in its home region than elsewhere in the country, providing the state governor since 2000 (currently Pablo Pérez Álvarez, previously Manuel Rosales) and the mayor of its largest city, Maracaibo (since 2010, currently, Eveling Trejo de Rosales). 12 candidates of ''Un Nuevo Tiempo'' or supported by ''Un Nuevo Tiempo'' were elected deputies to the National Assembly out of 15 in the September 2010 legislative elections. The crisis in Venezuela is an ongoing socioeconomic and political crisis that began in Venezuela during the presidency of Hugo Chávez and has worsened in Nicolás Maduro's presidency. 2018 Venezuelan Municipal Elections
Municipal elections were held in Venezuela on 9 December 2018, aimed at choosing only the 2459 municipality councillors of Venezuela. Background Following the 2018 Venezuelan presidential election, municipal elections were quickly organized throughout Venezuela. The National Electoral Council proposed the election date of 9 December 2018, which in turn was approved by the Constituent National Assembly on 13 July 2018. Conduct Many voting centers were seen empty due to low participation. Members of the state-run CLAP were ordered to participate in the elections with the government offering food products to those who were involved. The Sucre State ( es, Estado Sucre, ) is one of the 23 states of Venezuela. The state capital is Cumaná city.
