Cam Fraser
Cam Fraser (1932 – May 16, 1999) was a professional Canadian football punter who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League from 1951 to 1961. He came out of retirement in 1969 after an injury to Joe Zuger. Fraser appeared in the 1957 Grey Cup, a 32–7 victory for Hamilton against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Hamilton has a population of 569,353, and its census metropolitan area, which includes Burlington and Grimsby, has a population of 785,184. The city is approximately southwest of Toronto in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). Conceived by George Hamilton when he purchased the Durand farm shortly after the War of 1812, the town of Hamilton became the centre of a densely populated and industrialized region at the west end of Lake Ontario known as the Golden Horseshoe. Tex Maule
Hamilton Prieleaux Bee Maule, commonly known as Tex Maule (May 19, 1915 in Ojus, Florida – May 16, 1981) was the lead American football writer for ''Sports Illustrated'' in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Early life Maule played football (end) at St Mary's in college and served in World War II. Career Maule joined the NFL's Los Angeles Rams front office, where he worked with Pro Football Hall of Famers Pete Rozelle and Tex Schramm. Later, in 1956, Maule was hired by ''Sports Illustrated'', where he covered football for 19 years. Maule referred to the 1958 NFL Championship Game between the Giants and the Colts as "the best game ever", according to writer Mark Bowden. Bowden wrote a 50th-anniversary book about the game using Maule's description as his title. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Blue Bombers compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West division. They play their home games at IG Field. Ancaster is a historic town in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, located on the Niagara Escarpment. Founded as a town in 1793, it immediately developed itself into one of the first important and influential early Kingdom of Great Britain, British Upper Canada communities established during the late 18th century eventually amalgamating with the city of Hamilton in 2001.
