Calum MacLeod (producer)
Calum MacLeod is the co-host, creator and creative producer of the Canadian television series ''Road Hockey Rumble''. He was born in the house of Taurus at Winnipeg's St. Boniface Hospital in the Saint Boniface neighbourhood, but spent his early years in Edinburgh, Scotland, before moving back to Winnipeg at the age of nine. Shortly thereafter he was introduced to the game of road hockey when he grabbed one of his neighbour's broken sticks out of the garbage. He played road hockey games in Winnipeg, Prince George, and Vancouver. Saint Boniface, Winnipeg
St-Boniface (or Saint-Boniface) is a city ward and neighbourhood in Winnipeg. Along with being the centre of the Franco-Manitoban community, it ranks as the largest francophone community in Western Canada. ''Road Hockey Rumble'' is a half-hour reality series produced by Paperny Entertainment and broadcast on OLN. The series uses a documentary format but crosses over into the genres of sports, travel, and comedy. It follows two Canadian hosts, Calum MacLeod and Mark McGuckin playing their way across Canada in a 13-game grudge match series of Road Hockey. Street hockey (also known as shinny, dek hockey, ball hockey, road hockey) is a collection of team sport variants played outdoors either on foot or with wheeled skates, using a either a ball or puck designed for play on flat, dry surfaces. The object of every game is to score more goals than the opposing team by shooting the ball or puck into the opposing team's net.
