Calum Lyons
Calum Lyons (born 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays for Waterford Intermediate Championship club Ballyduff Lower and at inter-county level with the Waterford senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a Right Wing-Back. Playing career St. Declan's Community College Lyons first came to prominence as a hurler with St. Declan's Community College in Kilmacthomas. He played in every grade of hurling before eventually joining the college's senior hurling team and serving as captain in his final year. Institute of Technology, Carlow As a student at the Institute of Technology, Carlow, Lyons was immediately called up to the institute's senior hurling team. He was an unused substitute during IT Carlow's Walsh Cup campaign in 2016. 2019 National Hurling League
The 2019 National Hurling League is the 88th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Kilkenny were the defending champions, having won the 2018 league. The GAA announced a new broadcast agreement on 10 January 2019 that runs from 2019 until 2022. Eir Sport and RTÉ provide live TV coverage of the league on Saturday nights. TG4 broadcast Sunday afternoon games. The highlights programmes are RTÉ2's ''League Sunday'' on Sunday evenings, TG4's ''GAA 2019'' on Monday evenings and Eir Sport's Allianz Leagues Reloaded on Wednesday evenings. The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition in Ireland, and has been contested every year except one since 1887. The final, currently held on the third Sunday in August, is the culmination of a series of games played during July and August, with the winning team receiving the Liam MacCarthy Cup. Conor Prunty
Conor Prunty (born 9 January 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays for Waterford Senior Championship club Abbeyside and at inter-county level with the Waterford senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a full-back. Playing career St. Augustine's College Prunty first came to prominence as a hurler and Gaelic footballer with St. Augustine's College in Dungarvan. He played in every grade before eventually joining the college's senior teams. On 30 March 2013, Prunty was at full-forward when St. Augustine's College faced Scoil Mhuire in the All-Ireland final. He scored a point from play in the 2–08 to 0–10 victory. Cork Institute of Technology During his studies at the Cork Institute of Technology, Prunty was heavily involved in hurling. The 2017 Munster Senior Hurling League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Co-Op Superstores.ie Munster Hurling League, was the second Munster Senior Hurling League, the annual hurling league competition for county teams from the province of Munster. Clare came into the season as the defending champions. For the second year in succession Tipperary declined to field a team in the league. Munster Senior Hurling League
The Munster Senior Hurling League (known in some years as the Munster Hurling Cup) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 2016 for the top inter-county teams in the province of Munster in Ireland. The 2018 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 55th and last staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 7 May 2018 and ended on 26 August 2018. Limerick were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Tipperary in the Munster semi-final. On 26 August 2018, Tipperary won the championship following a 3-13 to 1-16 defeat of Cork in the All-Ireland final. This was their 10th All-Ireland title overall and their first in eight championship seasons.
