Callum Urch
Callum Urch (born 21 July 1984) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club, Kangaroos in the Australian Football League. After attending Caroline Chisholm Catholic College in Braybrook, Urch made his debut against the Sydney Swans in Round 19 at the Sydney Cricket Ground in 2004. He was part of the 40 point 3-quarter time deficit revival that saw the Kangaroos come back in Glenn Archer's 250th game to win against the odds. After playing just the 8 games over three years, and no games in 2007, he was delisted from the Kangaroos list at the end of the 2007 AFL season. He was then recruited by Victorian Football League club Williamstown Seagulls, Williamstown, before moving to Darley in the Ballarat Football League in 2009. In April 2013 Urch was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking charges after a police investigation into waterfront corruption. North Melbourne Football Club
The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed the Kangaroos, is a professional Australian rules football club. The men's team competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), and the women's team in the AFL Women's (AFLW). The Kangaroos also field a reserves men's team in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Founded in the suburb of North Melbourne in 1869 and based at the Arden Street Oval, it is the 4th oldest club in the competition and one of the oldest surviving clubs in the world. Its original home at Arden Street continues to serve as its headquarters, training facilities and home ground for its women's side. The Sydney Swans are a professional Australian rules football club based in Sydney, New South Wales. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). Glenn Archer
Glenn Archer (born 24 March 1973) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played his entire career with the North Melbourne Football Club. Archer had a reputation as one of the most courageous players ever to play the game. The AFL Players Association awarded him the Robert Rose Award for Most Courageous Player six times in nine years between 1998 and 2006, the most of any player in the award's history. In recognition as one of the best players in the AFL, Archer achieved All-Australian selection three times and also represented Victoria in State of Origin.
