Álex Ubago
Álex Ubago (born Alejandro Martínez de Ubago Rodríguez on January 29, 1981, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain) is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He is especially known for his heartfelt voice and his ballads. He was able to record his debut album '' ¿Qué pides tú?'' when manager Iñigo Argomaniz that used to go to Alex's cousin's bar heard a demo that Alex made for his girlfriend. His first album contains songs from that first demo recording; the songs are "Sabes" and "Hay Que Ver". Alex started to tour national radios with his guitar to sing his songs live and get further exposure. Eventually, this strategy worked, and his album finally hit the charts. But he reached absolute fame with the publication of the song "Sin Miedo A Nada", featuring Amaia Montero, which is his biggest hit to date. ''Mentiras Sinceras'' (lit. "Sincere Lies") is the fifth studio album by Spanish singer-songwriter Álex Ubago. It was released by WEA Latina on December 4, 2012. Production It was recorded in Milan, Italy at Claudio Guidetti's studio between July and August 2012. The album features the collaboration of Lele Melotti and Paolo Costa, with whom he worked on his second record material Fantasía o Realidad, under the production of Jesús N. Gomez. Promotion began on the album with the release of an EP made up of the songs "Ella vive en mí", "Mentiras sinceras" and "Being with you", the latter being a solo version that was originally released when Ubago was part of the group "Alex, Jorge and Lena", with whom he got his first Latin Grammy. The Latin Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Album was an honor presented annually at the Latin Grammy Awards from 2001 to 2011. Sharon Helga Corr MBE (born 24 March 1970) is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, and television personality. She is best known as a member of the pop-rock band The Corrs, which she co-founded in 1990 with her elder brother Jim and younger sisters Caroline and Andrea. She plays the violin, piano and guitar, and sings backing vocals. She began learning the violin when she was six years old. She has played in national youth orchestras and is qualified to teach the violin. The Corr siblings were awarded honorary MBEs in 2005 by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of both their musical talent and their charitable work raising money for Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, victims of the Omagh Bombing, and other charities.
