"Call Me" is a song recorded by the German eurodance duo Le Click. The song was released in February 1997 as the second single from their album, ''Tonight is the Night''. It peaked at number 35 in the United States and number 38 in the United Kingdom. It reached number-one on the ''RPM'' Dance chart in Canada and stayed there for three weeks. Le Click was a German Eurodance duo. The duo consisted of Swedish/Nigerian singer Kayo Shekoni and rapper/singer Robert Haynes. Career Their U.S. chart debut was in 1995 with "Tonight Is the Night" (which featured La Bouche's Melanie Thornton on vocals and was included on the double platinum-selling U.S. edition of La Bouche's debut album ''Sweet Dreams''). They had another hit in 1997 with the single " Call Me", which climbed to number 35 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 as well as number 4 on the '' Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart. The track reached number 38 in the UK Singles Chart. Its follow-up, "Don't Go" peaked at number 62 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number 19 on the ''Billboard'' Dance Club Play Chart. ''RPM'' ( and later ) was a Canadian music-industry publication that featured song and album charts for Canada. The publication was founded by Walt Grealis in February 1964, supported through its existence by record label owner Stan Klees. ''RPM'' ceased publication in November 2000. ''RPM'' stood for "Records, Promotion, Music". The magazine's title varied over the years, including ''RPM Weekly'' and ''RPM Magazine''. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming.
