Atascadero (Spanish for "Mire") is a city in San Luis Obispo County, California, about equidistant from Los Angeles and San Francisco on U.S. Route 101. Hearst Castle, known formally as La Cuesta Encantada (Spanish language, Spanish for "The Enchanted Hill"), is a historic estate in San Simeon, California, San Simeon, located on the Central Coast of California.
