The Calcutta Boys' School is an independent private day school located in Kolkata (Calcutta), West Bengal. was founded by the Rev. Altamas Kabir
Altamas Kabir (19 July 1948 – 19 February 2017) was an Indian lawyer and judge who served as the 39th Chief Justice of India. Early life and education Altamas Kabir was born in Calcutta in 1948 to a Bengali Muslim family from the district of Faridpur (now in Bangladesh). Utpal Chatterjee
Utpal Chatterjee (born 13 July 1964) is a former Indian cricketer. He was a left arm spinner and a low order batsman. He had his early education at the Shyambazar A.V School and Calcutta Boys' School in Kolkata, India. He played domestic cricket for Bengal and played three One Day Internationals for India in 1995. He is the only cricketer ever from Bengal to have picked up more than 500 first class wickets. He picked up 52 wickets in the ranji trophy' season of 1999–2000. Purbayan Chatterjee (born in Kolkata on 12th September 1976) is an Indian sitar maestro who lives in Mumbai, India. Protik Prakash Banerjee (1 June 1969 – 3 July 2020) was an additional Judge of the Calcutta High Court. Early life Banerjee studied in Calcutta Boys' School and completed his legal education from Hazra Law College in 1994.
