Caitlin Shaw
Caitlin Shaw (born August 28, 1989) is an American professional stock car racing driver. Shaw is the second youngest woman to compete in NASCAR's top three series (behind Johanna Robbins). She is also the only woman from the state of New Mexico to ever compete in any of NASCAR's top three series. Shaw was the inaugural United States Spokeswoman for the International Online Magazine GirlRacer.co.uk. She continues to promote women in sports by visiting multiple children's hospitals, schools, and seminars talking with children about the power of sport. Racing career Early career Shaw's early career began in 1999 when she began competing in the Quarter Midget's of America organization. Johanna Robbins
Johanna Robbins (; born May 26, 1992) is an American professional stock car racing driver. She is the winner of the 2010 Snowball Derby. Racing career Background Long's father raced late models and she wanted to start racing karts when she was five years old; he allowed her to start racing when she was eight. She moved up into legends car racing, before turning to late models when she was twelve. In 2008, she won the Gulf Coast championship including races at Pensacola and Mobile, Alabama as well as the late model track championship at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola. NASCAR career Long began her transition into NASCAR in 2009 by racing in a variety of series, including ASA Late Model Series, Pro Late Model, and ARCA. In 38 events, she had 27 top ten finishes, 17 top fives and five wins. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-banked tri-oval race track located in Avondale, Arizona, near Phoenix. The Heart of America 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. Since 2020, the race has been 134 laps and long. From 2001 to 2019, the race was one of a few on the Truck Series schedule to be 250 miles (Daytona, Talladega, Texas' 400km event). In 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic schedule changes, the Truck Series had three races at Kansas with the first two being a doubleheader in July after being postponed from May and the other one being held in the fall. The San Bernardino County 200 is a discontinued NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. It was first held in 1997, the year Auto Club Speedway opened, and last held in 2009. The race had been held as the second race of the Truck Series season since 2005, but was removed from the schedule after 2009 in order to save teams money in travel costs, no longer forcing them to travel from east coast to west coast for a race. The NextEra Energy 250 is the first race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season at Daytona International Speedway and as of 2004 has been held under the lights.
