Cahokia Heights is a city in St. Clair County, Illinois, St. Clair County, Illinois, United States. It was founded on May 6, 2021, by the merger of the villages of Cahokia, Illinois, Cahokia and Alorton, Illinois, Alorton and the city of Centreville, Illinois, Centreville. On May 6, 2021, Curtis McCall Sr. was sworn in as the city's first mayor, having run unopposed. Geography Climate Demographics History Better Together The formation of Cahokia Heights was part of a campaign and four-phase plan called "Better Together". Curtis McCall Sr. Centreville Township, St. Clair County, Illinois, Centreville Township Supervisor, led the consolidation efforts.
