''Cafe Moscow'' (Hungarian:''Café Moszkva'') is a 1936 Hungarian adventure film directed by Steve Sekely and starring Anna Tõkés, Gyula Csortos and Ferenc Kiss (actor), Ferenc Kiss. Art direction was by József Pán. It is also known by the alternative title ''Only One Night''. The film is set during the First World War on the Eastern Front (World War I), Eastern Front between Russian Empire, Russia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Steve Sekely
Steve Sekely (February 25, 1899– March 9, 1979) was a Hungarian film director. Born István Székely, he was known by several names, based on his changing professional and immigration status, including Stefan Szekely. He directed films in Hungarian, German, and English. Biography He worked as a newspaper journalist in Germany, before returning to Hungary in the early 1930s. He directed one of the most famous classic Hungarian films, the frequently revived comedy ''Hyppolit, a lakáj'' (1931). That film was remade in 2000 and the original was later digitally restored and released on DVD. Sekely left pre-war Hungary, fleeing growing fascism and laws restricting rights and professional opportunities for Jews. Gyula Justh (13 January 1850 – 9 October 1917) was a Hungarian jurist and politician, who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 1905 and 1909. Biography He was born in Necpál, Turóc County (today: ''Necpaly, Slovakia'') as a child of István Justh and Margit Pákozdy. After finishing law studies he became Chief Constable of Gyula District however the governing Liberal Party overthrew him because of his thoughts of independence against Austro-Hungarian Compromise. After that he returned to his estate in Tornya (today ''Turnu, Romania''). Later he farmed in his property in Csanád County. He was elected Member of Parliament for Makó in 1884. Manyi Kiss (Born Margit Kiss; 12 March 1911 – 24 March 1971) was a Hungarian actress. Career She was born in Magyarlóna, Kolozs County, Hungary ''(now Luna de Sus, Romania)'', to Lajos Kiss and Zsuzsanna Nagy. She acted from 1926 in Cluj ''(in Hungarian: Kolozsvár)'', from 1928 in Miskolc and then between 1929 and 1932 in Szeged, Hungary.
