Caesar Okhuti
Caesar Okhuti (born 7 October 1990) is a Ugandan coach and retired footballer. He captained Arua Hill Sports Club from the FUFA Big League to the Ugandan Premier League in 2021. Okhuti was part of the promoted Onduparaka FC team in 2016. He once played for Express and KCCA FC but was loaned back to Onduparaka FC for the 2016/17 season. He won the league with Bunamwaya SC in 2010 and KCCA FC in 2016. He retired from professional football on 17 August 2021 after winning the StarTimes FUFA Big League Final with Arua Hill SC. Senior career Okhuti started his career in 2007 with a brace for Arua-based Ugandan Super League debutants Ediofe Hills FC against URA FC. He was called up to the Uganda national football team, Ugandan national team by coach Laszlo Csaba later that year. The following year, Vipers S.C., Bunamwaya S.C. bought him for a national record 12 million shillings. Uganda National Football Team
The Uganda national football team (nicknamed ''The Cranes''), represents Uganda in men's international football and is controlled by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, which is a part of CAF. Their best finish in the Africa Cup of Nations was second in 1978. History The Uganda national football team made its debut on 1 May 1926 against Kenya drawing 1–1. They qualified for their debut in the Africa Cup of Nations in 1962, the third edition of the tournament, which included only four teams. In the semi-finals, Uganda was defeated and eliminated by the United Arab Republic (2–1), and then lost the third place match against Tunisia (3–0). Uganda returned to the Africa Cup of Nations in 1974, where they were eliminated in the first round following two defeats against Egypt and Zambia and a draw against Ivory Coast.
