Cadeaux
Cadeaux is a collaborative indie rock project from Los Angeles, CA. Members include Briana Lane of Winslow and Darian Zahedi of CRX. Their first single "Bad" was released on September 17, 2020. The song was mixed by production veteran Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Cults, Rostam). On December 30, 2020, the track became KCRW's Top Tune of the Day. Cadeaux released its next single ''Either Way'' on February 24, 2022. Lane said in an interview on March 23, 2022 that Cadeaux would release several new tracks in 2022. Briana Lane
Briana Lane (born October 27, 1985) is an American actress and musician. She is best known for her recurring roles on Freeform's ''Young & Hungry'' and '' Switched at Birth'' and her portrayal of Brook Lynn Quartermaine on ABC's ''General Hospital'', for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in May 2021. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Winslow (band)
Winslow is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. Kate Miner and Briana Lane make up the female indie duo. Winslow released their first two singles, "Look at Me Now" and "Out of My Head" off their self-titled EP, ''Winslow'', on June 22, 2018. Their third single, a cover of "Conversation 16" by The National, was released on July, 6th 201 The video for "Out of My Head" was directed by Nora Kirkpatrick of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. CRX (band)
CRX is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2013, consisting of Nick Valensi (lead vocals, guitar), Ralph Alexander (drums), Brad Oberhofer (keyboard, backing vocals), Jon Safley (bass, backing vocals) and Darian Zahedi (guitar, backing vocals). The band released their debut album, '' New Skin'', on October 28, 2016. The album's first single, "Ways to Fake It", was released on September 7, 2016 through Vevo and Spotify. Vampire Weekend is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 2006 and currently signed to Columbia Records. The band was formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Ezra Koenig, multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij, drummer Chris Tomson, and bassist Chris Baio. Batmanglij departed the group in early 2016. Cults (band)
Cults is an American indie pop band formed in New York City in 2010. The band first came to prominence when they posted a three-song EP, ''Cults 7"'', on their Bandcamp page. They are signed to Sony and In the Name Of, a record label that was set up by British singer Lily Allen. History Cults formed in 2010 while guitarist Brian Oblivion and singer Madeline Follin, both from San Diego, were students in New York City. Oblivion went to NYU to study documentary cinema, Follin went to The New School. Madeline had previously recorded with punk band Youth Gone Mad on the album, '' Touching Cloth''.
