Caccia All'uomo
''Caccia all'uomo'' (translation: "Manhunt") is a 1961 Italian crime-drama film directed by Riccardo Freda and starring Eleonora Rossi Drago, Yvonne Furneaux and Umberto Orsini. Plot Commissioner Nardelli is charged with capturing the dangerous bandit Mazzarò, who in Sicily killed a notary and kidnapped a girl. The key to the criminal organization is a young woman, Maria, who is the lover of a local baron and, at the same time, of the wanted bandit. Nardelli will succeed in the enterprise thanks to the police dog Dox. Once the mission is over, the two are transferred to Rome, where they solve the case of a model killed in the context of drug trafficking. Riccardo Freda
Riccardo Freda (24 February 1909 – 20 December 1999) was an Italian film director. He worked in a variety of genres, including sword-and-sandal, horror film, horror, ''giallo'' and spy films. Freda began directing ''I Vampiri'' in 1956. The film became the first Italian sound film, sound horror film production. Biography Riccardo Freda was born in 1909 in Alexandria, Egypt to Italian parents. Freda attended school in Milan where he took art classes at the Centro Sperimantale. After school he took on work as a sculptor and art critic. Film career Freda first began working in the film industry in 1937 and directed his first film ''Don Cesare di Bazan'' in 1942. Fanfulla
Luigi Visconti, better known by his stage name Fanfulla, (26 February 1913 – 5 January 1971) was an Italian actor and comedian. Life and career Born in Rome, Visconti debuted at very young age on stage alongside his mother, the actress Mercedes Menolesi (best known as "Diavolina"). From the mid-forties to the late fifties, he adopted the stage name Fanfulla and was a popular comedian of cabaret and avanspettacolo shows, acclaimed for his brilliant style, referred to as "The King of Avanspettacolo" and even paired with Ettore Petrolini. His career was relaunched by Federico Fellini, who chose him for the role of Vernacchio in ''Fellini Satyricon'', a role that gave Fanfulla a Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actor. Vincenzo Musolino (9 May 1930 – 9 May 1969) was an Italian actor, director, producer and screenwriter. Life and career Musolino was born in Reggio Calabria into a humble family, and lived as a fisherman. During the military service he held in Venice, he was chosen by Renato Castellani for the leading role of Antonio in the neorealist drama ''Two Cents Worth of Hope''. Following the success of the film, Musolino appeared in several films, mainly in supporting roles.
