Cabana (ancient Lake)
Lake Cabana is an ancient lake in the Altiplano. The lake reached a water level of over the central and northern Altiplano, above the current lake levels of Lake Titicaca. The Capalla- Ulloma sill, which separates the Altiplano into a northern and southern basin, did not exist at that time and it did not split up the Cabana lake body. It left deposits reaching thicknesses of of thickness; they have been found on the western and eastern sides of the basin. Erosion platforms and terraces covered with gravels and other wave cut structures are remnants of Lake Cabana. In 1984, this lake was named by a group of researchers around A. Lavenu. Other ancient lakes on the Altiplano are Lake Mataro, Lake Ballivian, Lake Minchin and Lake Tauca. An erosion surface at elevation and associated clays were formerly attributed with Ballivián but today shorelines at that elevation are instead associated with Cabana. Salvador Cabañas Ortega (born 5 August 1980) is a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a striker. Cabañas played for Club 12 de Octubre, Guaraní, Audax Italiano, Chiapas, Club América, General Caballero, Tanabi and Independiente F.B.C. His football career saw him play in Paraguay, Chile, Mexico and Brazil. Lucio Cabañas Barrientos (, 12 December 1938 – 2 December 1974) was a Mexican schoolteacher who became a revolutionary, albeit not a Marxist one. Cabañas regarded Emiliano Zapata as his role model and he never abandoned his Christian faith, as can be seen in Gerardo Tort's film documentary on him. His paternal grandfather had been a Zapatista and his uncle Pablo, had participated in the Vidales brothers' guerilla in the 1920s. He completed his basic education in the town of El Cayaco. José Trinidad Cabañas Fiallos (9 June 1805– 8 January 1871) was a liberal Honduran military general and politician who served as President of Honduras on two separate occasions: From 1 March to 6 July 1852. Galician-language literature is the literature written in Galician. The earliest works in Galician language are from the early 13th-century ''trovadorismo'' tradition.
