The CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy (commonly known as the CUNY School of Public Health, or CUNY SPH) is a public college, public American research and professional college within the borders of City University of New York (CUNY) system of colleges. The school is situated at 55 West 125th Street in Manhattan. CUNY SPH offers doctoral programs, master's programs, several certificates, and faculty memberships in many of CUNY's research centers and institutes. A core roster of over 50 full-time faculty is supplemented by additional faculty members drawn from throughout CUNY. Matthew Goldstein (born November 10, 1941) is the former chancellor of the City University of New York (CUNY). Goldstein was appointed CUNY chancellor on September 1, 1999. He was the first City University graduate to head the University, having received his undergraduate degree from City College. Previously, Goldstein served as president of Baruch College from 1991 to 1998, and president of Adelphi University, from 1998 to 1999.
