CSC Dumbrăvița
Clubul Sportiv Comunal Dumbrăvița, commonly known as CSC Dumbrăvița sometimes as FC Dumbrăvița, or simply as Dumbrăvița, is a Romanian football club based in Dumbrăvița, Timiș County, currently playing in the Liga II. Founded in 2009, CSC Dumbrăvița played at the amateur level until 2018, when it promoted to Liga III. The geographic positioning of Dumbrăvița, in the neighborhood of Timișoara, grew the population by 168%, between the 2002 and 2011, leading also to a significant increase in the economic strength of the commune in recent years. The most important footballer born in Dumbrăvița, was Ștefan Dobay, the local stadium being named in his honor. In the summer of 2022, the club promoted for the first time in its history to Liga II. Liga IV Timiș is the county football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Timiș County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 18 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. 2022–23 Cupa României
The 2022–23 Cupa României is the 85th season of the annual Romanian primary football knockout tournament. The winner will qualify for the second qualifying round of the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League. It is the first season in which the Round of 16 was replaced by a play-off, immediately followed by a group stage, in which the best 8 teams from Liga 1 will also enter directly. In this round, the 24 teams remaining in the competition will be divided into 4 groups of 6, two each from value boxes 1, 2 and 3. 2022–23 Liga II
The 2022–23 Liga II (referred to as the Liga II Casa Pariurilor for sponsorship reasons) will be the 83rd season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. A total of 20 teams contest the league. It will be the seventh Liga II season with a single series. The first two teams will promote to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed and fourth-placed team will play a play-off match against the 13th-placed and 14th-placed team from Liga I. The last five teams will relegate to Liga III. The season is scheduled to begin on 6 August 2022 and to end in June 2023.
