Cartilage associated protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ''CRTAP'' gene. Function The protein encoded by this gene is similar to the chicken and mouse CRTAP genes. The encoded protein is a scaffolding protein that may influence the activity of at least one member of the cytohesin/ARNO family in response to specific cellular stimuli. Proteins are large biomolecules and macromolecules that comprise one or more long chains of amino acid residues. ARNO
The Arno is a river in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is the most important river of central Italy after the Tiber. Source and route The river originates on Monte Falterona in the Casentino area of the Apennines, and initially takes a southward curve.
