CP Music Group is a collaborative music label and management team for a roster of artists, songwriters and producers. It co-founded in 2002 as Capital Prophets Records by Lebanese-Canadian entrepreneur Wassim "SAL" Slaiby and Palestinian-Canadian songwriter Belly. Wassim Joseph Slaiby (; born November 16, 1979), better known as Sal (usually stylized in all caps), is a Lebanese-Canadian music industry executive, talent manager, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the co-founder and current CEO of XO Records, and the co-manager of the label's primary artist, singer the Weeknd. He also manages other artists on the label, including singer Black Atlass and rappers Belly and Nav. ''Mia Martina'' is the self-titled second studio album by Canadian singer Mia Martina. It was released on October 14, 2014 in Russia and as a special Deluxe Edition in Japan on December 10, 2014. Martina sought to make this album more personal than her debut album ''Devotion'', drawing influence from her personal life, friends and trips around the world. "Hot Girl" is a song by Canadian rapper Belly featuring vocals from American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was a song from DJ Smallz's 2009 mixtape ''Back For the First Time Vol.1'' and was released on September 8, 2009 as the first single off Belly's second album ''Sleepless Nights 1.5'' (2012). The song, which samples "Bubble Like Soup" by Timberlee featuring Ward 21, peaked at number 58 on the Canadian Hot 100. The accompanying music video for the song was directed by RT! and features both artists hanging out with various women painted in gold and silver. Mario Mendell Winans ( Brown; born August 29, 1974) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer best known for his 2004 song "I Don't Wanna Know", which reached number 2 in the United States and number 1 in the United Kingdom. Winans also won a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance for co-writing CeCe Winans's song "Pray". Ricardo Emmanuel Brown (born November 23, 1972), better known by his stage name Kurupt, is an American rapper and record producer who aided gangsta rap's rise via 1990s verses helping set lasting trends. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday. The chart is similar to ''Billboard''s US-based Hot 100 in that it combines physical and digital sales as measured by Nielsen SoundScan, streaming activity data provided by online music sources, and radio airplay as measured by Broadcast Data Systems. The Canadian Singles Chart was a chart compiled by the American-based music sales tracking company, Nielsen SoundScan, which began publication in November 1996. It was published every Wednesday and also published on Thursday by '' Jam!''/Canoe. It was superseded by the '' Billboard''-published Canadian Hot 100 in 2007. History In the 1960s, the Canadian music industry was disparate and regionally focused, and English-speaking Canadian artists were often overlooked in favour of American acts.
