CPLP Games
The CPLP Games ( pt, Jogos da CPLP) is a multinational multi-sport event organized by the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), which involves athletes coming from Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) countries that are less than 16 years old. This event is similar in concept to the Lusophone Games, but for younger athletes. Multi-sport Event
A multi-sport event is an organized sporting event, often held over multiple days, featuring competition in many different sports among organized teams of athletes from (mostly) nation-states. The first major, modern, multi-sport event of international significance was the Olympic Games, first held in modern times in 1896 in Athens, Greece and inspired by the Ancient Olympic Games, one of a number of such events held in antiquity. Sal, Cape Verde
Sal (Portuguese for "salt") is an island in Cape Verde. Sal is a tourist destination with white sandy beaches and over 350 days of sunshine a year. It is one of the three sandy eastern islands of the Cape Verde archipelago in the central Atlantic Ocean, off the west coast of Africa. Mafra, Portugal
Mafra () is a city and a municipality in the district of Lisbon, on the west coast of Portugal, and part of the urban agglomeration of the Greater Lisbon subregion. The population in 2011 was 76,685, in an area of 291.66 km2. It is mostly known for the sumptuous Mafra National Palace inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
